Highlights from the Vimeo Film Festival

Granted it’s been exactly 7 days since Vimeo Film Festivities began, there was so much amazing animation showcased I don’t think it would ever be too late to mention it. I won’t bury the headline here. Far and away the best piece of animation (Shortlisted for “Best Animation” but alas not nominated as finalist) was

My Mother’s Coat, directed by Marie-Margaux Tsakiri-Scanatovits, who works in the London collective, Moth.

My Mother’s Coat (excerpt).

There is unfortunately not full version of the video available online, but I highly recommend checking out their Vimeo reel.
