Sometimes (often) while cleaning up The Comics Journal office, we find printouts older than some of our interns. For your Friday distraction, we offer this for everyone who ever wished that breaking into comics was as easy as filling out an application:

    I guess qualifications such as:

    -scanning something legibly
    -posting it online at a readable size
    -providing some context to what may or may not be a joke
    -having balls enough to sign a name other than “admin”

    …aren’t required to “break into comics”?

    I’ll keep this in mind should I ever desire the fame, fortune and vagina that is assumedly commensurate with the career of a professionally published ink slinger.

      It is a bit blurry, but this is just a curiosity from a defunct comics company.

      To increase the magnification on a webpage in most browsers, use Ctrl+ + (Control key and the Plus sign key). I can read this even without doing that.

      Buried in the 2nd page you’ll find “All applicants should note that contracted material remains the express property of Forever Presss….”

      Forever Press were the publishers of “Reich Child Conception of Darkness” (1997), which at least on the #2 cover featured “Expressly Large Breasts.”
