R. C. Harvey on R. Crumb’s The Book of Genesis

Harvey on February 16th, 2010 at 9:00 AMIt took a four-year, monastic-like effort to adapt every word of the first book of the Bible in distinctive pen and ink, but Crumb did it and produced what has been described as a “relentlessly faithful rendition of the first 50 chapters of the Bible by an apostle of the 1960s and sometimes profane progenitor of underground comics.”
